Pezman > Pulling into a classic Pipeline set

Pezman > Afternoon at Pipe, on a not so normal day. The swell was picking up fast and by late afternoon, the outer reefs were bombing. Nonetheless, the lunch hour saw some of the best waves of the entire day.

Pezman > By afternoon, Pipe was seeing 25-30' faces and third reef was beginning to send bomb sets through. A few clean up frothy monsters rolled through...

Pezman > Third Reef bombing, sending the competitors and jetski support scrambling to the outer part of the reef to wait it out.

Pezman > Third reef continued to send mackers all afternoon.

Pezman > The outer reefs, a full mile out (and then some), were firing and sending the crowd into a frenzy

Pezman > Meanwhile down the way, Rockpiles was getting large

Pezman > And back at Pipeline, some classic pipe monsters came cleanly through.
